In June 2023, Yellow Boat of Hope Indonesia (formerly School Boat Indonesia) achieved a significant milestone by officially becoming a registered foundation and an official chapter of the Yellow Boat of Hope organization in the Philippines.
Most of the communities supported by Yellow Boat ID are coastal villages and fishing villages in mangrove areas. In these areas, students often have difficulty getting to school due to the lack of boats that can take them for free.
